Winterizing your Arborjet Equipment

When the person using this plug setter was done with the job, he threw the setter back into the Pelican case for the VIPER hydraulic kit without letting it dry out. The kit was done being used for the season and was stored away for about 6 months. Sure enough, when the time came to use the kit and setter again, the user found rust on not only the plug setter, but many other components of his VIPER hydraulic kit.

Mountain Pine Beetle Treatment Research

As you may know, TREE-äge is labeled for a number of pine bark beetles, specifically Ips Engraver Beetles, Mountain Pine Beetles, Southern Pine Beetles, Spruce Beetles, and Western Pine Beetles. These beetles attack mainly pine trees, including the Loblolly, Lodgepole, Pinyon, Pitch, Ponderosa, Shortleaf, Slash, and Virginia varieties.These varieties of pine can be found all over the western and southern United States.

Homeowners fight back against Emerald Ash Borer

In Illinois, the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) infestation has reached new heights. 39 counties are now under quarantine, prohibiting the movement of wood products between counties. EAB has put villages, towns, and cities alike under severe pressure to decide what their treatment strategy will be and how it will affect their overall budget: let trees die, cut them down, or treat them.
